Spring Dates: 4/5 – 6/14 Summer: 6/20 – 8/11 Must be at least 16 to be a volunteer Dance Assistant. Class times vary upon on the Dance Style. Monday – Thursday, dance classes are any time after 3:30. Saturday and Sunday Classes are typically in the mornings. Volunteer roles include Dance Assistant and Aid for Special needs students. Qualifications: * A commitment to the YMCA mission and its core values of honesty, respect, reasonability and caring as well as a commitment to building development assets in youth. Value diversity, youth, and have a broad vision of health and wellness that is enhanced by relationship building. * Ability to relate well to both children and their parents. * Ability to dance, direct and assist students in dance classes. Dance Classes: Ballet & Tap, Adaptive Musical Theater, Musical Theater, Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz, Polynesian, Pom, Preschool Ballet, Adult Dance Cardio. Age Groups for Dance Classes: 3-6, 5-6, 9 & up, 18+
